Yes, Cake Essentials offers in-store pickup as a shipping option.
Customers with a British Columbia shipping address will be presented with the In-Store Pickup Tomorrow (after 1:00 PM) option at no cost during checkout.
This option is ONLY available to customers with an BC shipping address. If you are outside of BC and require in-store pickup, please contact us.
You will receive an email notification the next business day when your order is ready for pickup—after 1:00 PM.
We aim to ship all orders within 24 business hours after payment is received. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be shipped on the next business day. Please allow at least 4 business days after the expected delivery date before reaching out to Cake Essentials—feel free to contact us if needed.
Please note: It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all address and contact information is accurate before completing the order. Incorrect details may result in processing and shipping delays, as well as potential surcharges.
Shipping Cut-Off: Orders received after 11:00 AM PST will be processed the next business day, which may impact the estimated delivery date.
Please Note: Free shipping orders are excluded and typically take 3 to 10 business days.

Absolutely. Our website is protected with SSL encryption, ensuring your information is safe. We never directly receive your credit card details, and for added security, we also offer the option to pay via PayPal.
At Cake Essentials, we want you to feel confident when purchasing your baking and cake decorating supplies. If you change your mind about a purchase, we offer a 30-day return policy, subject to the conditions outlined below.
✅ Eligible Returns
We will process a refund or exchange for both online and in-store purchases,s provided that:
The item is returned within 30 days of purchase
Proof of purchase is provided (receipt or order confirmation email)
The item is in new, unused condition
The item is in its original packaging
The item was originally purchased from Cake Essentials
A Return Authorization (if required) is used within 14 days of issue
The item is not listed under non-returnable exclusions
All returned items are subject to inspection before approval.
🧾 Refund Method
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method whenever possible
If the original payment method is unavailable, a store credit (gift card) will be issued
Cash refunds are not offered
Returns made without proof of purchase or after 30 days may, at our discretion, be eligible only for store credit at the current selling price.
❌ Items That Cannot Be Returned
For hygiene, safety, and quality reasons, the following items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange:
Final Sale items
Discounted or Clearance items
Gift Cards
Chocolate or heat-sensitive products that may have been exposed to warm temperatures
Any item that has been opened, used, or altered
📦 Online Order Returns
For online purchases, customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the return is due to an error on our part (incorrect or damaged item).
We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as Cake Essentials is not responsible for lost return shipments.
📍 In-Store Returns
In-store purchases must be returned in person with the original receipt and item in unused condition.

After your order is shipped, you’ll receive an email with tracking information (if available). Please note that it may take up to 24 hours for the carrier’s system to update the tracking details. With this number, you can easily track your package and see when it’s scheduled to arrive.
Our website reflects the current stock status of each item. If an item is out of stock, we’ll reach out to inform you about your order’s status.
Please note that Cake Essentials does not hold backorders. Any out-of-stock items at the time of purchase will be refunded, and the rest of your order will be shipped.
Out-of-stock items can be reordered once available. To stay updated, you can subscribe online for Product Notification Updates and receive an email when the item is back in stock.
If an item is permanently discontinued or unavailable, we’ll notify you via email and issue a refund for that item.
Once your order has been PRINTED in our warehouse, we’re unable to make changes or add items. However, you can place a NEW order for any additional products you need. Orders placed before our 11:00 AM PST cutoff will be processed the same business day.
All orders placed before order cut off (11:00 am EST) will be processed SAME BUSINESS DAY* (*EXCLUDING Free Shipping orders).
We offer various methods of shipping to suit your needs. Your order will be shipped out according to the method of shipping you have chosen during the time of ordering. We offer everything from same day courier* to overnight to standard shipping. Please see our shipping methods for more details.
Any order sent to a customer that is refused will be charged the shipping costs plus a restocking fee of 20%.

Currently, we only ship within the country. We do not offer international shipping at this time.
